GEPMICI was established in the 1979 to serve the Philippine market for ANSI-type watt-hour meters. With a 1,800sqm plant area located in Taguig City, the company has since evolved to become the leading provider of quality metering products and accessories in the Philippines, having manufactured and sold well over six million units of single-phase watt-hour meters.

At present, its production capacity is as follows: I-210 (1P) for 1MM units per year; KV2C (3P) for 60,000 units per year. It also enjoys full-time support on technology, sourcing & quality management from GE Meter, U.S.A. and GE Energy Services Transmission & Distribution Teams
