Meralco cited as one of the Philippine's Best Performing Companies
World-renowned management consulting firm Stern Stewart & Co. recently recognized the Manila Electric
Company (Meralco) as among the country’s best companies. Meralco was named among the 11 top Philippine
companies that were included in the Asean 100 Relative Wealth Added (RWA) Index List.
The RWA is a benchmarking system introduced by Stern Stewart that measures a company’s actual performance - comparing
the company against its industry peers and its cost of equity. According to Stern Stewart & Co., Meralco gained
significant strides this year amidst the global economic fallout. At recognition rites at the Ateneo Graduate
