Inc. and a Director of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company. He is the Chairman of the Board of
BayanTrade Inc., Digital Paradise Inc., ePLDT Ventus Inc., among others. Mr. Espinosa was cited one of
the leading capital market lawyers in the Philippines by Asia Law Leading Lawyers in 2001 and 2002.

He was a former Solicitor General from 1972 to 1986 and Minister of Justice/Attorney General from 1984 to 1986.
He served as Governor of the Province of Pampanga from 1980 to 1986.

Mr. Nazareno is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City in 1970.
He earned his master’s degree in business management from the Asian Institute of Management in 1973 and
completed the Executive Program from The European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in 1983.
He is presently the President and CEO of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, Smart Communications
Inc., and Pilipino Telephone Corporation. He was awarded the Corporate Executive of the Year in the
Philippines by the Best-Managed Companies and Corporate Governance Polls of Asiamoney in 2005 and 2006.
Mr. Nazareno was awarded The Outstanding Mechanical Engineer (TOME) in Management by the Philippine
Society of Mechanical Engineers in 2007.

Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban was a member of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 1995
to 2006. He graduated in 1960 from the Far Eastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Laws and in
the same year, placed 6th in the Bar Examinations. He is an Independent Director of GMA Network, Inc.,
First Philippine Holdings Corp., and Metro Pacific Investments Corp. as well as Senior Adviser of

and Managing Director of First Pacific Company Limited. He was awarded Best CEO in the Philippines
by the Institutional Investor in 2004 and Business Icon Gold Award by BizNewsAsia in 2008. Mr.
Pangilinan was also conferred the Order of Lakandula (Komandante) in 2006 and the Presidential
Pamana ng Pilipino Award in 1996 by the Office of the President of the Philippines.

Vicente L. Panlilio

Mr. Panlilio graduated in 1969 from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's Degree in
Economics. He attended the Asian Institute of Management for the Advanced Bank Management Program.
He has been Director of San Fernando Light & Power Co. since 2003 and a Trustee of TSPI Development
Corp. (microfinance) since 2004. He was formerly the Chief Operating Officer and member of the
Advisory Board at the Far East Bank & Trust Company from 1974 to 2000.
