POSITION: HEAD, INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY SECURITY

Function:

Provides leadership and guidance to the Information Security Management function, providing line management, leadership and strategic direction for the function and liaising closely with Strategy and Innovation Stakeholders, as well as Business Leaders of the enterprise to bring the organization's information security risks under explicit management control through the Information Security Management System. Leads the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO/IEC 27001. Identifies and sets strategic business directions and explores opportunities based on trends in markets, technology and the industry to meet the changing needs and priorities of internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. With 10+ years in ICT or Line of Business leadership, management or supervisory roles in an enterprise environment, preferably in utilities/energy, technology, manufacturing and logistics industries.
  3. Experience in implementing and supporting enterprise systems, business solutions, and applying technology to solve business problems. (Experience with ERP, EAM, CRM, ADMS, GIS, Field Force Automation, BI/DW, Big Data, CEP is a plus.)
  4. Experience working in organizations that apply the concepts of SEI CMMI, ITSM/ITIL, COBIT, and other related standards and methodologies.
  5. High-level technical expertise combined with excellent planning, coordination and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with teams.
  6. Excellent project management skills and strong problem solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop, implement and document processes that improve the accuracy and timing of work products and business activities.
  7. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills.
POSITION: LABOR RELATIONS SPECIALIST

Function:

Promote industrial peace by resolving labor issues proactively. CBA Administration or other labor negotiations; Policy Administration; Management of Labor Cases. Provide proper interpretation of the Code on Right Employee Conduct and facilitates administrative investigation process. Assists in organizational change project, prepares and submits required governmental reports or forms related to labor relations matters and other duties that may be assigned.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Graduate of Law and must have passed the Bar examination
  2. With at least 2 years of working experience in Employee and Labor Relations or general HR discipline
  3. Must have an in-depth knowledge and understanding on the Philippine Labor Code
  4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  5. With integrity, objective/rational judgement and analytical skills
  6. Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality
  8. Computer literate
POSITION: LINEMAN

Function:

Assists in constructing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining overhead and underground power lines and drives work vehicle to transport crew and materials to and from place of work.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Male, 20-26 years old
  2. Must be at least 5'5” in height
  3. Must be a High School graduate and graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in Electrical Technology, Practical Electricity or any allied courses
  4. Must have at least a student driver's permit
POSITION: MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Function:

The Marketing Associate assists with the planning and execution of marketing activities, which includes: market research, strategy formulation, program management, resource management, advertising, and market planning. The Marketing Associate is also responsible for the success of marketing programs and campaigns and launching and promotion of new products/services.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or related courses. MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred but not required.
  2. At least 2 years experience in product management, market research, or any related field.
  3. Demonstrates strong analytical and tool-based financial and technical modelling/simulation skills.
  4. Quick learner and ability to understand business dynamics.
  5. Preferably with in-depth functional exposure/experience in market research and planning function
  6. Demonstrates strong decision-making skills under pressure. Attention to detail is a must.
  7. Ability to communicate and work with middle and top line management as well as work with cross-functional teams.
POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER

Function:

Performs operational / technical tasks under set directions, policies, guidelines, and procedures, implements parts of or major processes in Civil Construction and Maintenance of all Substation Projects; conducts initial field survey, prepares bid proposal form and pre-bid notes, attends pre-bid meetings with contractors and procurements, check/reviews contractors billing; evaluates bids received from contractors and recommends best qualified bidder, conducts inspections and supervision of substation civil construction and maintenance projects, recommends and design field revision, initiates testing of materials to check compliance.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
  2. With a background/know-how to do the cost estimate and bidding design
  3. Must have at least a student driver's permit
POSITION: QUALITY AUDIT ENGINEER

Function:

The Quality Audit Engineer is responsible for ensuring implementation of the Organization's established Quality Audit Programme and monitor compliance with procedures at regular interval. Evaluates processes, write audit reports, write non-conformances, and store records. Drives improvement by identifying and communicating ineffective or inefficient Quality Management System process.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Registered Electrical Engineer
  2. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  3. Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  4. Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
  5. Quick learner and ability to understand business dynamics.
  6. Excellent time management and organization skills, with high emphasis on attention to detail
  7. Recognized and trusted site auditor expert and resource
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
POSITION: RELAY ENGINEER

Function:

Assists in the development of annual team and action plans to fully support the organization goals and priorities. Report problems encountered in the operations and maintenance process; identifies and recommends enhancements in the process and in the information system. Recommends changes in the design drawings to provide complete protection scheme if necessary. Conducts field inspection to gather equipment, line and protective relay data necessary for the protective relay setting and coordination studies. Conducts tests and evaluation of new relays. Study new methodologies in relay protection scheme based on the emerging new technologies and evaluate its application to Meralco system.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Registered Electrical Engineer
  2. Good scholastic records
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills
  4. Computer literate – knowledgeable in basic computer applications, i.e., MS Office
  5. Preferably with knowledge on Fault Calculation/Relay testing and setting; experience with Utility or Power System Maintenance or Relay Maintenance.
  6. Preferably with Driver's license but not required.
POSITION: TECHNICIAN

Function:

Tests, inspects and calibrates electrical and electronic equipment and devices.


Qualifications:

Candidates must have the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  1. Male/Female, not more than 30 years old for male and 25 years old for female
  2. Must be at least 5'4” in height for male and 5'2” for female
  3. Must be a graduate of 2-4 year Technical/Vocational course related to Electrical Technology, Practical Electricity or any allied courses; or with at least 60 units of related engineering course preferably in EE or ECE
  4. Preferably a Registered Master Electrician
  5. Must have at least a student driver's permit
