POSITION: Commercial Operations Engineer/Analyst

Functions:

The position will be responsible in the management of bill components (validation of received billing inputs / compilation and validation of meter reading data / maintenance of billing rates), management of bill generation (calculation and consolidation of billing items / correction of anomalies / creation of bill image), and management of bill delivery (checking of delivery mode / sending of billing files to third party / printing of bill statements)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Graduate of Engineering, Accounting, Statistics, or related courses. Post graduate degree or units in related fields is a plus
  2. Functional experience in power billing is a must. At least 3 years of experience in handling GP bills is a requirement.
  3. Attention to detail is a must. Must be able to detect billing deviations
  4. Quick learner. Must learn how to efficiently use the new CMSv10.
POSITION: ENGINEER

Functions:

Performs operational/technical tasks and economic studies on assigned project pertaining to existing and/or future power system development and expansion of distribution facilities of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Licensed Engineer – BSEE, BSECE, BSCE, BSME
  2. Good scholastic records
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills
  4. Computer literate – knowledgeable in basic computer applications, i.e., MS Office
POSITION: LINEMAN

Functions:

Assists in constructing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining overhead and underground power lines and drives work vehicle to transport crew and materials to and from place of work

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Male, at least 20 years old but not more than 26 years old
  2. Must be at least 5’5” in height
  3. Must be a High School graduate and completed a Technical/Vocational course in Electrical Technology, Practical Electricity or any allied courses
  4. Preferably with driver’s license
POSITION: Energy Sourcing Engineer / Analyst

Functions:

For front-office functions, the position will be responsible in the following areas of energy sourcing operations:

  • Deal Strategy Formulation and Structure Validation
  • Deal Entry, Validation and Monitoring
  • Submission of Daily and Standing Bids
  • Energy Price and Volume Risk

For middle office and back office functions, the position will be responsible in the following areas of energy resource planning, and energy accounting and settlement:


Energy Resource Planning:
  • Aggregation and Profiling
  • Demand Forecasting
  • Price Forecasting
  • Wholesale Supply Contract Development
  • Wholesale Supply Contracts

Energy Accounting & Settlement
  • Meter Data Management
  • Billing and Settlement (WESM and Bilateral Contracts)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related courses. Post graduate degree/s or units in related fields are a plus.
  2. Demonstrated strong analytical and technical/financial modeling skills. Ability to develop programs and/or use available systems as tool in decision-making is a plus.
  3. In-depth functional exposure/experience is a must for senior positions. Familiarity with other industry players is a plus. Candidates for entry level will also be considered based on potential for development.
  4. Demonstrated strong decision-making skills under pressure. Has a full grasp and understanding of the risk elements associated with various decisions in the areas of energy resource planning and energy accounting and settlement.
  5. Ability to communicate and work with middle and top line management as well as work with cross-functional teams.
POSITION: Marketing Specialist

Functions:

The Marketing Specialist for Market Research and Planning will perform marketing research and analysis to guide trading and sales strategy development activities and decisions. Perform market segmentation, customer profiling, and modelling.

The Marketing Specialist for Pricing and Product Development will concentrate on designing the RES’s energy and non-energy products and services, formulate appropriate price models and configure marginal pricing contract terms. This position will involve collaboration with Energy Management in developing the retail prices to be marketed.

The Marketing Specialist for Programs and Sales Planning will be collaborating with the Account Managers in their sales and marketing, public relations, and brand management activities. This position will also be responsible to the business’s marketing plan development, implementation, and program monitoring/evaluation.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or related courses. Post graduate degree/s or units in related fields are a plus.
  2. Demonstrated strong analytical and tool-based financial and technical modeling/simulation skills. Must be able perform sensitivity analyses for moving trends to have a guided decision/recommendation. Ability to develop programs and/or use available systems as tool in decision-making is a plus.
  3. Quick learner and ability to understand business dynamics. Must be able to collect and analyze market data to identify industry and competitive trends. Ability to be developed to handle various aspects of Marketing functionalities for the business is a plus.
  4. In-depth functional exposure/experience in market research and planning functions is a must. Industry exposure need not be limited in the power sector, but familiarity with the industry is a plus.
  5. Demonstrated strong decision-making skills under pressure. Attention to detail is a must.
  6. Ability to communicate and work with middle and top line management as well as work with cross-functional teams.
POSITION: Strategic Account Manager

Functions:

The Account Managers will be managing the accounts of the anticipated contestable customers for the Phase 1 of the OARC. The Account Managers will act as the primary point of contact between the business and the customers, responsible for customer prospecting and sales revenue for the business, product/services/promotions offer presentation and customer feedbacking, contract negotiation, evaluation, signing and modification.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Existing customer relationship with anticipated contestable customers is a preference. Proven track record of good customer relations is a must.
  2. Quick learner and ability to understand business dynamics. Must be able to collect and analyze market data to identify industry and competitive trends. Industry exposure need not be limited in the power sector, but familiarity with the industry is a plus.
  3. In-depth functional exposure/experience in competitive industries is a plus.
  4. Must be business-savvy. Has an in-depth understanding of the risks involved in the business, and knows how to mitigate/manage those risks while maximizing sales revenue for the business.
  5. Demonstrated strong decision-making skills under pressure.
  6. Ability to communicate and work with middle and top line management as well as work with cross-functional teams.
POSITION: Process and System Administrator

  1. Acts as the process caretaker for RES (reviews efficiency of policies and procedures for the different processes of the organization / coordinates with other offices interfacing with RES / facilitate implementation of changes on the policies and procedures / monitors and manages documentations)
  2. Handles the administration of the different application tools and information systems (reviews and assesses efficiency and sufficiency of system functionality / documents user requirements on system enhancements and modifications / coordinates with IS-IT on implementation)

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Graduate of Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related courses. Post graduate degree/s or units in related fields are a plus.
  2. High preference will be given to candidates with familiarity with the functionality of the different application systems (CMSv10, CDFA, iPool, ETRM, etc.) and related processes they support. Preferably an experienced Process Caretaker from the organization.
  3. Demonstrated strong analytical and technical/financial modeling skills. Ability to develop programs and/or use available systems as tool in decision-making is a plus.
  4. Ability to communicate and work with middle and top line management as well as work with cross-functional teams.
