Vendor Accreditation



The Vendor Accreditation Program ensures that all vendors who wish to supply Meralco are capable of providing quality goods or services, and have technical, commercial, and financial ability, adequate equipment and facilities, good service performance, or any other measures that will ensure quality and reliability in every purchase made.


The Vendor Accreditation Program will cover all new vendors applying for accreditation and existing vendors of Meralco who seek to augment their existing product or services lines.

Application for Vendor Accreditation

New Vendor must check if Meralco needs its product by clicking "List of Products Needed" link below. Only applications for the supply of products and services included in the list are accepted. If product or services is needed, please click "On-line Application" icon and follow instructions indicated. Initial evaluation will be conducted and the vendor is advised on the next steps to follow which may include submissions of additional documents and product samples. The final phase is the payment of non-refundable accreditation fee and the inspection of the office and facilities of the vendor. Regardless of the result of the evaluation, the applicant vendor will be formally advised.

Accreditation of Principals

Traders will be responsible for facilitating the accreditation of their principals. Principals are accredited based on the commodity that they carry. The Traders, on the other hand, are accredited based on the principal that they represent. Traders should be able to provide extra effort or value-added service such as warehousing and/or after sales service.
