Generate renewable energy and turn excess power into bill credits

Net metering can help eligible businesses use clean energy generated at their own site while staying connected to the Meralco grid.

Install up to 100 kW of eligible renewable-energy capacity. A bi-directional meter records both the energy your operation draws from the grid and the excess electricity it exports.

  • Use on-site power first

    Renewable energy generated at your property supplies your operations before additional electricity is drawn from the grid.

  • Export eligible excess

    Surplus renewable electricity can flow back to the grid through an approved net-metering connection.

  • Receive bill credits

    The value of eligible exported electricity is reflected as a credit on a succeeding Meralco bill.
