Commercial Business Development Analyst

LOCATION: ORTIGAS, PASIG CITY

Job Summary:

The Commercial Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of commercialization strategies of Meralco for all business development initiatives and for monitoring the status and progress of implemented initiatives.

• Conducts initial research on and analysis of potential businesses for business expansion, as well as opportunities for advancement of initiatives
• Participates in relationship building activities with industry partners, government agencies, and potential clients
• Gathers and organizes data relevant to the conduct of feasibility studies and risk assessment, coordinating with relevant internal stakeholders as necessary
• Assists in the development of the Expression of Interest (EOI), proposals, bids, contracts, and other documentary requirements
• Performs initial review of technical and regulatory compliance of initiatives in coordination with the Technical and Regulatory Business Development group
• Participates in the preparation of contract negotiations
• Prepares relevant reports in aid of monitoring and evaluation of status and progress of implemented initiatives

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Management Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or other related courses
• Has at least 3-6 years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and financial skills with proficiency in modeling, analysis, and presentation creation
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam passer is an advantage
