Staff Engineer

Job Summary: 

The PROJECT EMPLOYEE shall serve as Staff Engineer, specifically, for the Civil Standardization Project under IAM- Civil Standards Organization. 

General Responsibilities:

• Development of New Standard Building for Substation including the preparation of Architectural Plan, Structural Plan, Electrical Plan, Mechanical Plan, Sanitary Plan, Structural Calculation, Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities.
• Development of New Standards (poles, structures, and line hardware) for Sub-Transmission and Distribution line.
• Review conformance of existing standards with the local codes and standards (National Structural Code of the Philippines, Building Code of the Philippines)
• Prepare Structural Analysis and Calculation of New and Existing Standards as part of Data Build-up
• Prepare Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities
• Review and Update of standard design and drawings and preparation of structural analysis and report of the existing 566 Standards for Substation, Sub-Transmission, and Distribution Civil Facilities

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Preferably with valid driver's license (and can drive manual transmission)
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Data analysis and management
• Strong written and communication, analytical, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail
