The municipalities of Binangonan, Cardona, Morong, Pililia, Tanay and Teresa in the Province of Rizal recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Meralco for the Energizing Partnerships Program (EPP), which aims to spur progress through the distribution utility’s collaboration with local government units.
The MOU would strengthen these municipalities’ existing relationship with the distribution utility and ensure good quality and reliable service for their constituents. For one, the MOU paved the way for mutually agreed upon activities such as community electrification and disaster preparedness programs.
