In 2019, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), through its corporate foundation One Meralco Foundation (OMF) launched the One for Trees initiative to save the country’s forests by planting and nurturing at least three million trees.
In 2019, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), through its corporate foundation One Meralco Foundation (OMF) launched the One for Trees initiative to save the country’s forests by planting and nurturing at least three million trees. In its first year, more than 2,000 employees of the Philippines’ largest private-sector electricity distribution company volunteered to plant 23,366 trees across its franchise area.
