Energy Efficiency Ratings

Use the Philippine Energy Label to identify the exact product, compare like models, and understand the efficiency and consumption information shown.

Read the complete label

The Philippine Energy Labeling Program gives consumers standardized information for covered energy-consuming products. Label details vary by product category, so follow the definitions printed on the current label and the Department of Energy's guidance.

What to compare

  • Product identity: brand, model, type, and capacity must match the appliance you are buying.
  • Efficiency information: use the displayed rating or metric to compare products in the same category and similar capacity.
  • Estimated consumption: read the stated unit and test basis; real household use can differ.
  • Verification details: use the label's QR code or official product listing when available to confirm the record.

A strong rating does not by itself make a product the right choice. Capacity, usage, climate, installation, maintenance, price, warranty, and service support still matter.
