What to prepare at each stage
Requirements vary with the customer, equipment, representative, service entrance, and technical findings. Use the latest checklist whenever you submit.
Start with complete customer and project information so Meralco can assess eligibility and route the technical review correctly.
- Application form
- Current completed form Include customer, service, project, provider, panel, inverter, optional battery, REC-meter, and representative details that apply.
- Authorized representative
- When applicable Provide the required authorization document and one valid ID for the representative.
- Annex sheet
- When applicable Use it for multiple panel, inverter, or battery models or ratings, and for primary-metered applications.
- Supporting information
- As requested Meralco may request additional technical or documentary information needed for a safe and accurate assessment.
Meralco assesses the proposed interconnection and confirms whether the service entrance and local network can accommodate it safely.
- Distribution Impact Study
- Required Assesses the proposed capacity, loading, voltage, power quality, protection, and local hosting capacity.
- Distribution Asset Study
- When required Identifies a network solution when distribution facilities may need an upgrade or modification.
- Service entrance
- Inspection Complete required modifications and coordinate the Meralco inspection.
- Local permits
- LGU process Secure the applicable electrical permit and Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection.
Complete every document, agreement, payment, correction, and safety test before the system operates in parallel with the grid.
